Dr Owen Roberts was very personable and a genuinely nice guy. I've seen him three times as he diagnosed my son with ASD and me with both ASD and ADHD via Psychiatry-UK and on the third occasion, it was like meeting up with an old friend! He is an excellent listener and made me feel very comfortable both times, despite talking about things that would normally make me uncomfortable. I felt that he did a thorough assessment and he seemed genuinely interested in how I felt about the results. I would highly recommend him.

My ASC assessment was the best experience I've ever had with a psychiatrist. I felt really comfortable with Dr Roberts, and I immediately forgot about my anxieties surrounding seeking a diagnosis. I will definitely recommend him to others.

GREAT DOCTOR! If you are talking about the one from Cardiff or Wales He helped me for a diagnosis with asergers/ASD, got to say hes very accurate, very empathetic, hard-working, non threatening, and a generally great person. Was so touched by his way got to say hes not comparable to 98-99% of other psychiatrists, people like him should definately getting paid more than the NHS gives. I am sorry to hear he is no longer exceptinprivatege patients. God bless you and wish you the best of everything, its People like you that make the World a better place THANK YOU SO MUCH DR ROBERTS!

I have been under multiple mental health teams since I was just 12 years old, therefore seen numerous psychiatrists. I am now 29, and after my assessment with Dr Owen Roberts, I can honestly say that I have never met a psychiatrist who has truly listened and understood my complex case in the way he did! After finally realising I had been misdiagnosed in the past, Dr Roberts assessed me and diagnosed me with ASD and possible ADHD, and reading his diagnostic assessment of myself, was like finally having someone truly listen to me for the first time! Thank you so much.

I have had two consultations with Dr Roberts now: one for autism assessment and the other for ADHD, both via Psychiatry UK. I can truly say that I felt in very safe hands and was at ease talking about sensitive subjects with him. He is so kind and open and allowed me to ask all my questions. I found him to be very reassuring and he clearly loves his job and is keen to help. I am so grateful that he is so experienced in assessing women with both autism and ADHD, because we do present differently, and Dr Roberts very much understood this. I feel very lucky to have had such a positive experience, I really do. Thank you Dr Roberts.
